Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 28, 2026
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser so it can remember something about your visit — for example, that you already told us you accept analytics. Related technologies (local storage, pixels) work similarly; where this policy says "cookies", it covers those too.
Some cookies are set by us (first-party). Some are set by services we embed (third-party). Cookies can be per-session (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (kept for a defined period).
2. Cookies on statusquo247.com
Strictly necessary
The marketing site is static and does not use sessions or logins, so it does not set any strictly necessary cookies. If you use the "Cookie settings" control, your choice is stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) so we remember it on your next visit.
Analytics — only after your consent
If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4. GA4 sets these cookies on your browser:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes unique visitors | 2 years |
_ga_XXXXXX | Persists GA4 session state for our measurement ID | 2 years |
We do not enable Google Signals, do not share GA4 data for advertising, and IP addresses are truncated by GA4 before storage.
Advertising
We do not set advertising cookies on statusquo247.com. We do not use retargeting pixels.
3. How to control cookies
You can change your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the site footer. Rejecting analytics stops the GA4 cookies from being set and clears the ones that were.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most modern browsers let you:
- see the cookies stored for a site and delete them individually,
- block all third-party cookies,
- or use private/incognito windows that discard cookies on close.
Because statusquo247.com does not rely on cookies for functionality, blocking cookies will not break the site.
4. Retention by category
- Strictly necessary: none set.
- Analytics: up to 2 years, as listed in the table above. GA4 event-level data is retained by Google for 14 months.
- Advertising: none set.
5. Product cookies (Status Quo 247 application)
This policy covers the marketing site. Cookies set by the Status Quo 247 product (session cookies for signed-in users, CSRF tokens, and similar strictly-necessary items) are described inside the product and in the relevant customer documentation.
6. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when we change the cookies or third-party services we use. The date at the top is always current. For questions, email privacy@statusquo247.com.
